The Real Flag Model

About the project
So have you ever wondered about what you still need to do on DTU in order to have tried EVERYTHING? For example have you been to all the bars at DTU (there are 8 (not including the ones at the dorms)), been up the chimney in the cellar bar or tried Portis? It’s a jungle of things that you just have to try, and that is why we have the real Flag Model.

The App is an overview of all the different things to do, and a point system in which you gain points from the respective fields in the flag model according to what you have done! As well as comparing your progress to that of your friends.

Current status
After a lot of research concerning what you have to have done at DTU, the prototype is under construction.

The team behind
The real Flag Model is currently being developed by Christian D. M. (BS Biotechnology, DTU) and Cecilie E. B. (BS Biotechnology, DTU).

Interactive Childrens Books

About the project

There are a lot of reasons why you should read books for and with your child, as well as playing games designed for toddlers. This App(which has yet to have a proper name) is going to combine reading and playing, as the child will have to perform certain tasks, press buttons or slide objects to activate fun animations and sound effects, while the parent reads the story.
With this app you can have dozens of children’s books with you, while only bringing your tablet and have hours of fun for you and your child.

Current status

The market research has ended and the prototype is being developed and sketches are being drawn. Currently the focus lies in the polishing of the very first book.

The team behind

The team consist of Sarah L. who mostly works as the graphical designer and Michelle L. Ø. who is in charge of the android development.

Zoo Escape

About the project
ZooEscape is a 3d running game, build on the same principles as the endless running games such as “Temple Run” and “Subway Surfers”. ZooEscape has the exception, that instead on running for an infinity, only to start over and do it all over again, you are running in a maze which you have to remember, and through out the game, the mazes start to become more and more complicated, with multiple new obstacles. The game theme is build around cute baby animals trying to escape the zoo and return to the wild to reunite with their family and friends

Current status
The development is currently running on half speed due to focus on other project, but with the release of Apples release of Swift a beta is expected to be available late summer of 2015.

The team behind
ZooEscape is currently being developed by Martin Meincke (Entrepreneur and BS  Computer Science, DTU). It is expected that a graphical designer will join the team at a later point.

Wizard Wars

About the project

Wizard Wars is a fun and fast paced multiplayer game for two players on the same device. Each player controls a wizard capable of casting offensive or defensive spells. In the end the outcome is decided by reaction speed, timing and tactics. Whether you’re using a phone or a tablet, Wizard Wars makes it easy to settle your arguments, humiliate your opponents or show off your superior reflexes.

The game generates a small but steady income, by selling an additional spell in-game.

Current status

Wizard Wars is currently released on the Android platform, where it has been downloaded over 200.000 times.
