Do you want to revolutionize computers?

Check out and join AppGarages newest group.
They want to use servers to do all the processing and handling of data and only make the personal thin clients a device where you only receive feedback and send input (keyboard, mouse movement etc) to the server.

We are looking for a technology solution that could solve this problem.Such a solution may also tell where the flare-up will occur on the body, however, this is not a requirement. The optimal solution has been tested among people with psoriasis. Solutions which assumes that users have access to a smartphone is accepted.

Looking for startup partner!

SEARCHING FOR PARTNER SOFTWARE DEVELOPER FOR A NEW START-UP
We are searching for a software developer who wants to be part of a small new start-up. As a
partner, you will be part of a motivated team who wants to have fun while making a difference.

ABOUT THE START-UP
It is all about trying to revolutionize the public transport through digitalization. After hours of
research, we have seen the need for a solution that minimize the pains for the consumers in first
Denmark and then Europe. A app/website will help the consumer to claim compensation that
increases the incitement for the transport suppliers to get trains and busses arrive on time. This is
just the beginning where the idea/business continuously will be developed. We have experience
from previous start-ups in marketing and knowledge about how to run a business, but have no
idea how to develop a database and applications. This is why we need you.
Right now, we have done the initial research and next step is to develop a prototype that we can
pilot in Denmark.

YOU WILL BE
– Cooperating closely with us in a small team, are young and ambitious, and naturally down to
earth-mind-set.
– Working in a start-up
– Working on a steep learning curve
– Working on a flexible schedule that will allow you to focus on studies and exams

CAN YOU SAY YES TO THE FOLLOWING?
– Interesting in being part of a start-up
– High degree of innovative mind-set
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Knows how or feel motivated to learn to develop databases and iPhone/Android applications
– The courage, confidence and maturity necessary to enter the freelancer’s world
– A good sense of humour

WE OFFER YOU
A work culture where we want to have fun while working ambitious on something that have
potential for incredible growth. The idea is just the beginning. And of course, we will offer you the
same share of the start-up as we have. Profit is not the primary goal – but of course a potential
benefit.

INTERESTED?
Does the offer as partner in a start-up with interest in software development sound like something
for you? Then, please feel free to contact, Christoffer Skov (+45 40529394 or
skov.christoffer@gmail.com).

Thank you.

Appy New Year to All!

Appy New Year to everyone!

What better way to kick off the New Year, than with a bit of awesome news?
AppGarage has now started to work together with the investor company Seed Capital to enhance your opportunities to create a startup. This means that you can always ask us, if you want a casual talk to hear what exactly investors are looking for.

Event: State of the Garage

It has finally happened! Once again, students can enjoy the ‘State of the Garage’ event. At 17:15 – 19:00 November 28 in DTU Skylab.

The purpose of ‘State of the Garage’ is primarily to introduce what exactly AppGarage is and what it can do for you.
Secondly, it is a great way to get to know the other members of AppGarage and hearing which events will come up next.

If you have anything that you would like to discuss at ‘State of the Garage’, for example showing off your project, startup or showcasing your ideas and browsing for co-members for your project, then simple reach out!

Ps. there will be snacks and drinks (I will try my hardest to ensure that there will be beers, although it might take some convincing 😉 )

AppGarage 2.0!!

AppGarage has returned from the dead and is ready to embrace any students with a great idea, and offer them a broad network of mentors, events and a great and interesting place to work.

And boy do we have plans for AppGarage! Hopefully we will soon be able to call Skylab our base of operations together with a full time mentor, and recreate the connections we have with companies and interested parties looking for young entrepreneurs or employees. For now we are located in building 321 room 206, where everyone is welcome to sit and work.

New Website!!!

A new website, a new beginning! AppGarage has gotten a new website, which is supposed to embrace the concept of AppGarage 2.0.
Soon it will also contain a list of projects offered by companies or from elsewhere, but we’ll just have to get started a little before that happens!
Hopefully you’ll like it, but if you think that something is missing or anything like that, feel free to write.
